This page sets out how affiliate links work on Padelrix. Padelrix is published from France, so it follows French and European rules on commercial disclosure, as well as the terms of every partner programme we take part in.
What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a special link that identifies Padelrix as the publisher who sent a visitor to an online shop. If you click one of these links and buy the product, the merchant pays Padelrix a commission, usually between 3% and 8% of your purchase.
This commission does not increase the price you pay. The price shown on the merchant’s site is exactly the same as the one you would get by arriving any other way. You pay what is displayed, nothing more.
Affiliate programmes we use
Padelrix takes part in the following affiliate programmes:
- Amazon Associates (Amazon.fr) — tag
padelrix22-21 - Awin — a European affiliate network, through which we work with Padel Market in particular
Every purchase link on Padelrix carries the HTML attribute rel="sponsored", in line with Google’s guidance and with good transparency practice towards readers.
Amazon Associates disclosure
As required by the Amazon Associates Programme Operating Agreement:
“As an Amazon Associate, Padelrix earns from qualifying purchases.”
This statement appears visibly on every page that carries a link to Amazon.fr: in the site footer, and next to the price comparison blocks on product pages.
Editorial independence
None of our affiliate partners has any influence over Padelrix’s editorial content. In practice:
- No brand pays us to appear in our guides, or to be rated above a competitor.
- We freely name the products we advise against, including those sold on Amazon, our main affiliate partner.
- Our writers do not know the commission differences between merchants. A racket paying 4% is not pushed ahead of one paying 2%.
- We publish a full list of our sources on our methodology page (currently available in French only).
Your rights
You are entitled to:
- Refuse third-party cookies linked to affiliate programmes, through our cookie banner on your first visit. This has no effect on your browsing.
- Buy from the merchants we mention without using our links — type the address directly, the price will be the same for you.
- Report a recommendation you consider biased or misleading by writing to contact@padelrix.com. We publish a visible correction whenever an error has affected a ranking.
Rules we follow
- French Act no. 2023-451 of 9 June 2023 on commercial influence, and its amending order of 6 November 2024
- ARPP guidance on disclosures and references, covering how clearly affiliate statements must be shown
- DGCCRF — the French authority for competition, consumer affairs and fraud control
- GDPR — General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679)
- Amazon Associates Programme Operating Agreement — updated 14 April 2026
Tracking data
When you click one of our affiliate links, the merchant (Amazon, Padel Market and others) drops a third-party cookie. That cookie exists solely to attribute a possible purchase to Padelrix. Its lifetime depends on the merchant:
- Amazon: 24 hours (standard duration)
- Padel Market, through Awin: 30 days
No personal data reaches us: we know neither who you are nor what you bought. All we see is the total commission received over a given period, in our affiliate dashboards.
